The Cotswolds

Broadway

Broadway is a picturesque Cotswold village renowned for it's mixture of Tudor, Georgian and Stuart styles of architecture and large open greens. Once part of the Worcester to London coaching route, the inns once resounded to the sound of merriment as wealthy travelers sampled the local fayre. Broadway is a fabulous example of a Cotswold village with it's fine antique shops and great restaurants.

Whilst in Broadway, a visit to Broadway Tower Country Park is a must. Here you will find Broadway Tower built by the Earl of Coventry around 1800, many good waymarked walks, a picnic area and nature trails. Excellent views may also be seen from the crest of the Cotswold escarpment.
