Chedworth Roman Villa

Discovered in 1864, Chedworth Roman Villa is perhaps one of the best examples to be found in England. In all, thirty-two rooms were discovered after excavation. You will see the well preserved remains of Roman baths and mosaics. Try to arrange your visit with one of the Living History Days - where presentations and displays of Roman life are given. Within the grounds of the villa you will also find a museum which displays the best finds from the site. There is also a visitors centre where souvenirs of your visit may be purchased. The Villa is owned and managed by The National Trust. For more information and admission charges, visit the National Trust website.
