Holst, the son of the music teacher at Cheltenham Grammer School, was born on 21st September 1874 at No. 4 Clarence Street. The Regency terraced house, now a museum, offers a rare insight into the Victorian and Edwardian times. The museum also houses Holst's grand piano and a collection of memorabilia. |
