Long Compton and Little Compton |
|
Long Compton is located at the bottom of the long hill of the Cotswold Edge. The village itself is full of beautiful stone cottages. The Church of St. Peter and St. Paul is most unusual and has much history. At the entrance to the church there is a lych gate which, it is believed, used to be part of a house from which the lower storey has been removed. Little Compton is just as pretty and also has many buildings with historic interest. Both Long Compton and Little Compton are well worth a visit. |
