King's Stanley |
|
King's Stanley dates back to the 13th century. There are remains of the old church and a hall surrounded by a moat that date even further back still. In the 17th century many of the local inhabitants worked in the cloth manufacturing mills. St. George's Church has much history and contains many interesting artifacts from a bygone age. King's Stanley is one of the many villages located on The Cotswold Way. |
